Anne wrote in about her loving husband who is a White Bear Lake Fire Fighter and EMT. She is giving him the bathroom he deserves to unwind and relax in after long days and nights as a first responder.
Below are the photos of the bath that Anne Submitted - as you can see the turquoise toilet and tub are in desperate need of a update!
At 11:30am tomorrow we (Along with the help of a fire truck, family and friends!) will surprise Jason, who will be busy at home refinishing a wood floor, letting him know that he gets a big break on the bath!

I had recently bought a home in foreclosure and I had to do a lot of updating. My bathroom was next on the 'To Do List'. I heard about the Tile Shop's win a new bathroom contest for Valentines day, so I decided to enter it. I ended up taking third place and that jump started my bathroom renovation.
The tile shop helped me out by giving me a very deep discount on the tile I bought for taking third place in the contest. I want to stress that the tile shop not only helped me financially with the bathroom renovation, but also with their staff's expert knowledge with design and installation. They guided me through the design including: color schemes, tile size, textures, and materials. If I had a question about the installation, I called the tile shop and any one of their staff could answer my questions.
It was tough, but extremely rewarding. To look at your bathroom and say I did all of this is a pretty amazing feeling.
We are completely thrilled about the new bathroom. We am proud of it, we love the look of it, and we think that it couldn't have turned out better.
I think my favorite part of the bathroom are the Bridgeport glass tiles along with the trim pieces we installed. They give the bathroom the color and the look we were going for. Contemporary yet vintage... Does that even make sense? Either way it looks really cool.
