One of the most popular tile styles, white subway tile has been a focal point in interior spaces for over a century, yet it still feels fresh and contemporary. Its clean lines and timeless appeal complement virtually any aesthetic, making it a versatile foundation for spaces that can evolve with your style over time.

Both of the bathrooms below, designed by Julie Howard for Timber Trails, feature the same Signature Bianco Gloss subway tile. In the bathroom on the left, the tile is installed with Superior Whisper Grey grout, while the bathroom on the right uses Black Onyx grout. In both spaces, the grout was selected to match the trim rather than the tile itself—Hampton Carrara marble on the left and Black Marquina marble on the right.

Notice the difference in mood between the two spaces. On the left, complementary colors create a tranquil atmosphere, enhanced by the pale blue vanity and blue-grey walls.
