Fall 2019 One Room Challenge™ Kickoff
Here we go again! We’re excited to announce that we’re an official sponsor for the sixteenth season of The One Room Challenge™ (ORC). This widely anticipated event happens biannually every April and October and continues to get bigger.
Each round, twenty design influencers are selected to take the challenge as Featured Designers and transform a space of their choosing throughout a six-week period. This season, ten of those twenty designers are including tile in their spaces.
So, without further ado, we’d like to introduce you to the amazing designers we have the pleasure of working with this season and their design plans for the challenge.
Veronica Solomon
Veronica is a dedicated interior designer, blogger and design mentor. She founded Casa Vilora Interiors and continues to inspire the design community in several ways. To date, she’s garnered some major professional accomplishments as the leader of the Casa Vilora Team. Just a few of her honors include HGTV Faces of Design Award Nominee, Design Influencer for High Point Market Fall 2018 Design Bloggers Tour and Design Influencer for Modenus Designhound for KBIS 2019 in Las Vegas.

The Learner Observer
A teacher by trade and a visual learner by nature, Thalita is a lifestyle blogger who has coined herself a daydreamer, “serial decorator,” and lover of thrift stores. On her blog, this coffee-fueled mom of two loves to share her story about making a home. Thalita has been featured in Domino Magazine, Apartment Therapy and more.

Shavonda Gardner & Carmeon Hamilton
This project is going to be a special one. Shavonda Gardner (a previous ORC featured designer), is partnering with one of her best friends, Carmeon Hamilton, to create a unique space in Carmeon’s home. We can’t wait to hear about this project from two different perspectives! Check back next week to see which space they’ll be tackling. Design Addict Mom
Stacey Blake is a mom of three and a proud military wife. After being an educator for many years, she took a hiatus to stay home and take care of her children. In doing so, she discovered the world of blogging and launched Design Addict Mom where she shares interior design news and trends, interior design projects, snippets of motherhood, lifestyle musings and more.

I SPY DIY
From TV appearances to magazines to print and web features, Jenni Yolo has created quite the DIY community. By embracing process over perfection, she has successfully transformed several spaces including an AirBnB property, a barn house and now a duplex! Follow Jenni and her new baby bump along for the ride as she takes her ORC guest bathroom from “offensive” to obsession.

Jeweled Interiors
Put simply, Jewel thrives when it comes to conquering a good challenge. With 13 moves in 19 years, creating a space that encompasses her “colorful with glam” lifestyle has become second nature. As a repeat ORC featured designer, she’s taking on not one, not two…but THREE spaces this season!

Nicole White Designs Interiors, LLC.
Recently voted among the Top 25 Interior Design Firms by the South Florida Luxury Guide, and among the ten emerging designers to watch by the Black Interior Designers Network, Nicole and her design team are dedicated to transforming the spaces and lives of their clients’ homes and businesses. Her challenge for ORC: expand her existing home office into an office/dining lounge for work by day and entertaining by night!

Erika is the founder and principal designer of Erika Ward Interiors, an Atlanta-based, full-service interior design firm. Her proudest accomplishment, however, is being a wife to her husband, Chris, and mother to her five children.
