Spring 2020 One Room Challenge™ Introductions Part 1

We are excited to announce that we are an official sponsor of the seventeenth season of the One Room Challenge™ (ORC). If you’ve followed along for any of the previous seasons, you know just how exciting it is to see these six-week transformations come to life. The One Room Challenge has quickly become one of our favorite projects here on The Tile Shop team.

In previous years, the kickoff of the ORC spring season is April 1st. Unfortunately, in response to COVID-19 ORC has decided to postpone the start of the challenge to May 6th. However, participants can start sharing details before then, so keep your eyes out for some sneak peaks!

Of the twenty featured designers, fourteen (yes, fourteen!) of them will be incorporating tile into their spaces. Here is part one of the wonderful designers that we are lucky enough to work with this season!

Clark + Aldine

Named after the Chicago streets where they first met, Clark + Aldine was born out of a love for purposeful design and everyday functionality. Danielle and Michael Gutelli reside in Plymouth, MI where they own and operate a design-to-build company that offers residential design, remodeling and customization.

A Glass of Bovino

When it comes to her home, Alisa is not afraid to get her hands dirty and has grown to love the thrill of taking bold design risks. She thrives off the grit of taking something that’s seemingly unattractive – whether it be a room or an old chair – and making it glamorous. You’ll rarely find her on a Saturday afternoon without a paintbrush, power tool or camera in-hand. But if you can’t find her at home…check the local thrift stores.
