White Tile

Nothing makes a room more bright and vibrant than white tile. From traditional to contemporary, it can be showcased in a variety of environments. A glossy tile creates a clean and reflective surface, while a matte tile provides a soft look that absorbs light. A true classic, white tile is a way to add a touch of timeless style in your home.

The Many Looks of White Tile

White tile may be the ultimate neutral, but it’s so much more than a blank canvas. When you choose white tile for your next home project, you open up a vibrant, versatile world of design possibilities that make it possible to create a custom space that’s perfectly you.

Finish and Materials

From velvety honed marble and shimmering mother of pearl to glossy white ceramic tile and industrial-chic cement, the possibilities go on and on.

Shapes

Add interest with unique shapes like hexagons, chevrons and arabesques, or keep things streamlined with go-to rectangle or penny rounds. White tiles make it possible to enjoy the benefits of a neutral color palette, while still expressing your design point of view.

Texture and Dimension

White floor tiles need to be smooth and flat, but white wall tiles are your opportunity to stand out—literally! Make a quiet statement with crisp beveled edges on an otherwise plain white subway tile, or revel in the embossed reliefs, raised patterns, or swooping ripples and curves of sculptural white ceramic tile.

Mosaics

Add texture and intricacy to any surface with white mosaic tile, small-scale geometric shapes on your shower floor to a waterjet mosaic with grand curves and flourishes. Each piece features expertly paired combinations of shapes, finishes and materials to elevate any space, from kitchens and bathrooms to hallways and entryways.

Don't Forget Grout

Grout can be part of your design statement. Match grout to your tiles for elements that blend together or choose a contrasting accent color to emphasize your tiles’ shape (this will also make cleaning easier—perfect for white shower tile!).

White grout lets the dark gray lines on these hexagonal tiles stand out, and the lines between the tiles recede.

Here, the tiles are arranged in the exact same way, but matching the grout to the color of the Iines on the tile further extends the angular pattern, and requires less frequent cleaning to maintain its appearance.
