Welcome to the Year in Review series. To wrap up the year, we’re sharing your most liked, shared and pinned bathrooms, kitchens and before and afters of 2023. Keep reading for a countdown of your favorite bathrooms.

This year has seen some great trends–cool blues, lush greens and luxurious marble looks were all en vogue. We’re sure we’ll see more of these trends in the year to come, so if you’re feeling inspired to add bathroom reno to your New Year’s Resolution, check out our full selection of bathroom tile.

10. Nikki Chu’s Serene Shower

One of our favorite 2023 trends is Quiet Luxury. Elegantly understated marble looks, simple metal accents and chic mosaics characterize this movement towards a more muted refinement. This bathroom, designed by HGTV’s Nikki Chu perfectly embodies everything we love about this trend. The soft beige and cream of the Savannah Antique marble-look tile is heightened by the gold trim and the Modena mosaic floor tile to create a soothing, luxurious space.

9. Chris Loves Julia’s Modern Colonial Bathroom

The star of this chic and sophisticated bathroom designed by Chris and Julia Marcum of the popular Chris Loves Julia blog, is the stunning custom floor using Hex Matte Black and Hampton Carrara Tumbled Hex. The black-and-white tile design is charming and contemporary, while still managing to complement the Colonial features–the wooden cabinetry, mirror and wall sconces. To create your own custom floor design, shop our hexagon and penny round tile.

8. I SPY DIY’s On-Trend Jewel-Tone Bathroom

This year, bright dazzling jewel tones were the delight of interior design. We predict this gem of a trend is here to stay, with sapphire blue and rich emeralds adding glimmer and glamour to our favorite spaces. This bathroom designed by I Spy DIY embraces deep, rich blues in the wall paint and the Marrakesh Blue tile. So as not to become too saturated with color, the Marrakesh Off White is used as a checkerboard along the shower wall, providing some respite from the jewel tones as well as a moment of whimsy. Shop our full selection of bathroom tile to create your own stunning oasis.

7. Gorgeous Jungle-Themed Bathroom

Biophilic design, with its penchant for earth and green tones and nature-inspired prints, was all the rage in 2023. Beginning as a reaction to the months spent in quarantine, this trend is all about infusing your spaces with the beauty and serenity of the outdoors. The Amazonia Emerald Tropic patterned wall tile in this shower creates a refreshing junglescape to start your day off invigorated, or recenter after a long day. The Glass Shamrock subway tile picks up the greens in the pattern, complementing the shower tile with a sleek and modern vertical stack backsplash. Shop our full selection of green tile to create your own lush interior space.

6. Craven Haven’s Boyhood Blues Bathroom

Blue was the color of the year for bathrooms (we have more blue rooms to come!). We love the rich navy used in this shower, and how the use of vertical and horizontal subway stacks to distinguish from the top and bottom of the wall. This boy’s bathroom, designed by Mackenzie from Craven Haven will mature with her sons as they grow. The blue and white shower has a boyhood charm that’s not too childish for teenagers. If you’re feeling inspired to use blue in your bathroom reno, check out our full assortment of blue tile.

5. Timber Trails Stately Soaking Tub

If you are lucky enough to have a soaking tub, then why not make it the star of the show. That’s what Timber Trails did in this bright and airy bathroom. The grey veining in the Firenze Carrara Honed marble tile adds movement and warmth to the bathroom floor, but the elegance of the tile is subtle enough that it enhances rather than detracts from the antique woven rug. The effect is open and modern while lending an air of classical luxury. Shop our full selection of marble tile to achieve your own luxurious retreat.

4. Refine Studios’ Sophisticated in Pink Washroom

This chic bathroom from Refine Studios combines unexpected elements for a look that’s as classic as it is contemporary. The worn-wood cabinetry and the Calacata Gold hex marble floor tile create organic warmth reminiscent of a bygone era, while above the sink, the sleek, black framed mirrors and candle-holder wall sconces have a contemporary look. The Annie Selke Crosshatch Soft Pink wall tile adds softness to the design, with its textile-like texture and pattern. All of these elements meld together for a stylish, sophisticated, yet totally unique bathroom. Find the perfect tile for your room design from our wide selection of bathroom tile.

3. Anna Graham Interiors’ Modern Zig-Zag Bathroom

This charming and modern bathroom designed Anna Graham Interiors is pup-approved! Cuteness factor aside, this is a space as inviting as it is stylish. The soft grey veining of the Hampton Carrara Hex floor tiles give the room warmth and movement that softens the chic black fixtures. The Imperial Gunmetal Gloss subway tiles are installed in a double herringbone pattern for an unexpected twist on the traditional. 2. I SPY DIY’s Relaxation Oasis

This elegant bathroom from I SPY DIY is as tranquil as it is rejuvenating. The subtle shifts in tone of the Riad Grey handmade-look tile and the Royal White marble hex floor give this bathroom a unique character that is understated enough not to compete with the room’s accent pieces. Whether you’re starting your morning with an invigorating shower or taking a soak to relieve the stress at the end of a long day, this bathroom will leave you properly revitalized or relaxed.
